Memorial Day Charity Softball Tournament & Barbecue |
> What: 1-Day Coed 16"-softball Tournament (2 game minimum) and barbecue Sponsored by the CCCSL, NFP > When: Saturday, May 24, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.; rain date, Sunday, May 25, 11 a.m. start > Why: for charity (& fun!). Net proceeds donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls > Where: Lincoln Park, Chicago @ Waveland & the Lakefront (enter via Irving Park exit of Lake Shore Drive) > Who: You and your friends; need not be in CCCSL Spring League to participate! > Tourney cost: team signup = $310 per team (includes BBQ) individual or small group = $26 per person (includes BBQ) BBQ only = $11 per person > Online signup: links at bottom! > Registration deadline: Monday, May 19th > Format: > at least 4 women on the field/in lineup at all times; lineup cannot exceed 12 people > roster can contain up to 16 players > women may use a glove, but men can't > signatures of players required at each game > two game guarantee; playing fee includes BBQ after the games > prizes to first and second place > registration limited to first 8 teams > Questions?
